Tree and Bulb Planting in Fort Greene Park
A message from Carol Anastasio from Parks Department:
Residents of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill are invited to a Community Planting Day this coming Saturday, October 24 from 10 am to 1 pm in Fort Greene Park. We are kicking off the Park reforestation plan by planting 10 pine trees. In addition to the tree planting we will also be planting flower bulbs that will bloom this spring and performing other fall related gardening tasks. Children are welcome with adult supervision.
Meet at the Park Visitors Center which is located near the monument.

If you are interested in volunteering but can't join us for this event we also have a few more dates scheduled through November. They are:

Projects kick off from the Visitors Center and run from 10 am to 1 pm. No special skills required, friendly training and all supplies are provided.
